While working on Blood Diamonds, we developed a 16 minute long soundtrack. This format worked well, because it allowed us to tell a much more detailed story than what would have been possible in the relatively short video. Richard was responsible for orchestral composition and arrangement, while I focused on modular synth grooves and electronic soundscapes.
The score is based on a documentary about conflict diamonds and is meant to be listened to in one piece, which is why there is no tracklist.
